Stroudsburg – Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Wilkins & Associates is hosting, through their Sponsors—Pocono Medical Center, Pillar-to-Post Home Inspection, First Keystone Community Bank and Full Circle Removal—a private showing of the biggest movie premier of 2015, the new and long awaited Lucas film, Star Wars “The Force Awakens” on December 17th, 2015 at the Cinemark Theater located at the Stroud Mall.
This one-of-a-kind event sold out after the release of the tickets to the Sponsors and Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Wilkins & Associates. The airing of the movie is the night before the publicized release of December 18th. Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Wilkins & Associates and the theater they rented will be the very first airing of the movie at Cinemark! Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Wilkins & Associates through Christine A. Wilkins, Executive V.P./General Manager, rented the entire movie theater through the Corporate office of Cinemark Theater.
Said Wilkins, “All of my arrangements for this most exciting event were done through Adrienne Satz, Coordinator for Business Development of Cinemark USA, Inc. Her office is located in Plano, Texas. I then partnered with four great Sponsors to bring this event to the theater on December 17.” Our four Sponsors—Pocono Medical Center, Pillar-to-Post Home Inspection, First Keystone Community Bank and Full Circle Removal—did not hesitate when they saw our email go out asking for Sponsors. Their excitement to participate is just as exciting as ours. This is THE event of 2015.
Wilkins further stated, “The proceeds from the sale of the tickets are being donated to
Sheriff Todd Martin and his cause “Holiday Toys for Youth” which he’s been involved with since 1995. Already, we are close to $3,000 which will be presented to Sheriff Martin on the night of the movie.
The private theater rented by the Sponsors will open its doors at 6:00 p.m. A number of giveaways and prizes will be handed out prior to the film being aired at 7:00 p.m. “We have Collector 3-D glasses; giveaway bags from Pocono Medical and a whole lot of other gifts and prizes. It will be a night that the children and their parents will simply never forget.” said Wilkins.
In addition to the film, you can have your picture taken with a life-sized Boba Fett at any time from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday starting December 1st until Christmas at the BHG Business Campus in the offices of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Wilkins & Associates. There is no charge for this opportunity. “Whether you’re 5 years old, 55 years old or 85 years old, please stop by for your free photo op!” chuckled Wilkins.
Wilkins further states, “I want to personally thank the Managers and staff of Cinemark located in the Stroud Mall, as well as our four Sponsors for believing in this great event. All of the tickets were sold at $25.00 each and includes a ticket to the show as well as a junior popcorn and soda with a donation to Holiday Toys for Youth.” If you would like to help donate to the cause and would like to donate a movie night to a family or child that would not be able to see the movie, we can sell Gift Cards for them to see the movie at their convenience. All proceeds will benefit Holiday Toys for Youth. We are accepting donations for Holiday Toys for Youth at any of our four (4) offices to be presented that evening.
In closing, Mrs. Wilkins said, “I am a mother and truth of matter is our son Benjamin turns 6 on December 17th. I wanted to do something special for him and our entire family is a “Star Wars” household. What started as a simple birthday present has expanded into one of the most exciting events I’ve ever had the pleasure of hosting.”
